CONGRATULATIONS to the WINNERS of The Poker Pub 2010 National Tournament! 

This year's Nationals were held at Binion's in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas on June 15th.  From a field of 94 players from around the nation we crowned a champion when the final 4 players agreed to chop the prize pool!  The overwhelming chip leader was David Wypychowski from Phoenix, Arizona!  David had over 325,000 in chips!  Second place finisher Leslie Quintano from Tucson, Arizona had over 120,000 in chips while 3rd place finisher Bruce Momich also from Tucson had almost 70,000 in chips and 4th place finisher Jeannette "Red" Charley from Sierra Vista, Arizona had less than 50,000 in chips.  David walked away with $3,500.00 in CASH while the other 3 players each earned $500.00! 

We witnessed some amazing poker being played throughout the day with a fair share of bad beats!  We would like to congratulate EVERYONE that qualified and participated in this year's Nationals!

The final table was dominated by players from Arizona!  Several players from Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas came close to making the final table.  We can't wait to see who will win it next year!  Until then... See you at the tables and..."May all your cards be live!"

We are pleased to announce that we are moving our National Tournament back to Binion's The Poker Pub 2010 National Tournament will be held at Binion's on Tuesday, June 15th.  The tournament will start at 5PM.  Registration will begin at 4PM.  

We are attempting to contact all of the players that qualified for this event via the email and/or phone numbers that we have on file.  If your contact information has changed or you haven't heard from us yet please contact us at ppsvaz@msn.com.  We have acquired special room rates for our players at the 4 Queens Hotel & Casino.  If you are making your own lodging arrangements make sure you contact us as soon as possible in order to get the room code for your discount.  

We are excited about Binion's hosting our National Tournament once again!  Those of you that have participated in our events at Binion's in the past know what a great place it is to play poker!  We look forward to seeing all of you at Nationals!

The dates for the tournaments are Dec 6, 7, 8 & 9. The tournaments are scheduled for 3PM on Mon, Tues & Wed. (The SUNDAY tournament will be at 4pm). If you want to play another day the tournament entry is $15.00 on your own and so are any extra nights.

All players will be required to obtain a Club Sahara card upon arrival at the Sahara. You will need to use the card whenever you play the slots or table games and inform the poker room that you are with the Poker Pub group when playing live action or tournaments. 

 Let me know what day you will use your prize ASAP.
